Gangotri Trek Tour

Duration : 9Days / 8 Nights
Best Time for Treks: April to June, and September to October.
Trekking Routes: Delhi – Rishikesh – Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Tapovan – Nandanvan – Gangotri Glacier – Satopanth – Gomukh – Bhojbasa – Gongotri – Rishikesh – Delhi.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01 : Delhi - Rishikesh
Upon arrival meet our representative and transfer to the Hotel wash and change after breakfast drive to Rishikesh which is approx 250 kms and would take about 6/7 hours of drive. Arrival at Rishikesh and check in at hotel for own activities. Evening free at Parmath Nikaten to attend Ganga Aarti. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02 : Rishikesh – Gangotri
After breakfast Drive 252km, from Rishikesh to Gangotri via Tehri and Uttarkashi along the Bhagirathi River. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 03 : Gangotri – Bhojbasa
After breakfast then trek 14km, to Bhojbasa (3792m), a place full of birch trees, via Chirbasa (3600m), , 9km from Gangotri. The trek takes you among the one of the best landscapes in Garhwal. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04 : Bhojbasa – Tapovan
After breakfast then trek 10km to Tapovan (4463m) via Gaumukh (3892m) where the Bhagirathi River emerges from the Gangotri Glacier. Tapovan is a beautiful grassy meadow below the mighty Shivling peak (6543m), ’. Dinner and overnight stay in tent at Tapovan.

DAY 05 : Tapovan – Vasuki
After breakfast then trek 8km, to Nandanvan (4500m) via the Gangotri Glacier. The enchanting route offers some beautiful views of snow-capped peaks like the Shivling (6543m), Mana Parbat (6758m), Satopanth (7084m),Vasuki (6792m), the Bhagirathi trio (6556m), and many others. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

DAY 06 : Vasuki – Bhojbasa – Gaumukh
After breakfast then trek 11km,, to Bhojbasa via Gaumukh. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

DAY 07 : Gaumukh - Gangotri
After breakfast then trek 14km, , to Gangotri. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

DAY 08 : Gangotri – Rishikesh
After breakfast drive 252km to Rishikesh. Evening free for own activity. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09 : Rishikesh – Delhi
After breakfast drive to back Delhi Lunch en rout. Arrival at Delhi and directly transfer to airport / railway station for onward journey to home town
