Chardham Pilgrimage

Chardham menas holy pilgrimage or four destinations. It is believed that travelling to these places leads to moksha, the release from samsara (cycle of rebirths). The holy places of pilgrimage for the Shaktism sect of Hinduism are the Shakti peethas.

Duration : 12 Days / 11 Nights
Covered Places : Delhi – Haridwar – Barkot – Yamunotri – Uttarkashi – Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Joshimath – Badrinath – Rishikesh/Haridwar – Delhi.

Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar
Upon arrival meet our representative and transfer to the Hotel wash and change after breakfast drive to Haridwar which is approx 220 kms and would take about 6 hours of drive. Arrival at Haridwar and check in at hotel for own activities. Evening free at Har Ki Pauri to attend Aarti. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Haridwar - Barkot
After breakfast at hotel in Haridwar, drive to Barkot which is probably 230 kms and would take 6 hours of drive through the highways of Mussoorie. Arrival at Barkot in the evening after visiting Kempty Falls on the way. Check in at Hotel overnight at Hotel.





Day 03 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
Get set ready for the Trek or take Palki of almost 12 kms from Hanuman Chatti to Yamnotri. Arrival at Yamnotri and pray at temple and also take a holy bath and start your most sacred pilgrimage to Char Dhams. At evening return back to Hotel in Barkot.

Day 04 : Barkot - Uttarkashi
Early morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Arrival at Uttarkashi for lunch and check in at Hotel. Free for own activities at afternoon. At evening, visit famous Vishwanath temple. Overnight at Hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Early morning drive to Gangotri which is approx 100 kms from Uttarkashi. On arrival, at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges as well as perform Pooja . Return back towards hotel in Uttarkashi at afternoon. Free for own activities at evening Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Uttarkashi - Guptakashi
After lesuirly breakfast at hotel in Uttarkashi, proceed towards Guptakashi which is approx 160 kms from Uttarkashi. Arrival at Guptakashi late in the evening, check in at hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath
Early morning, with packed Lunch, proceed towards Kedarnath. Arrival at Kedarnath, and then perform Pooja and also Darshan at the Kedarnath. In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya samadhi at the back of the temple. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kedarnath.

Day 08 : Kedarnath - Guptakashi.
After breakfast start you journey back to Gaurikund and on arrival leave for Guptakashi by road to reach the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Guptakashi.

Day 09 : Guptakashi - Joshimath
Early morning, after breakfast drive to Joshimath which is one of the most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Arrival at the hotel in joshimath by late afternoon. Evening free for own activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Joshimath - Badrinath - Joshimath.
Early morning, proceed towards Badrinath, on arrival take the holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana village the last village Indo - Tibet border. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Joshimath - Haridwar.
After breakfast drive to Haridwar which is approx 290 kms, enrouting visit to Devprayag and Rishikesh. Arrival & check in at hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 : Haridwar - Delhi.
Early morning before breakfast visit Chandi Devi by Cable car which gives most exciting view of Haridwar. Lunch on the road drive to Delhi. Arrival at Delhi and directly transfer to airport / railway station for onward journey to home town.
