Kailash Darshan On Foot & Return By Helicopter
This trip is actually meant for those religious aspirants who are also endowed with a sense of adventure and a keen desire to unravel the mysteries of the unknown. This is a very exclusive tour plan that has been specially designed to take care of the most important hurdle that one has to overcome for successfully completing this pilgrimage - namely altitude sickness. The visitors trek their way till Manasarovar wit 5 - 6 hrs. of trek everyday. It enables them not only to enjoy the beautiful and unique landscapes of isolated Humla Valley, but also prepares them to do the Kailash Parikrama successfully with minimum discomfort. The return journey is done by chartered helicopter to save the time as well as come back in relaxed way after the adventure of onwards trek.

Duration: 13 Days / 12 Nights
Coverd Places : Lucknow - Nepalgunj - Simikot - Dharapuri - Kermi - Yalbang - Tumkot - Thardhunga - Hillsa - Taklakot - Mansarovar - Diraphuk - Zuthulphuk - Taklakot - Nepalgunj – Lucknow.

Day 01 : Lucknow - Nepalgunj
Upon arrival at Lucknow by train or flight directly meet our representative and transfer to Nepalgunj by Car approx three and half hour drive or Kathmandu / Nepalgunj by scheduled flight. Overnight stay at Hotel in Nepalgunj

Day 02 : Nepalgunj – Simikot - Dharapuri
Early morning transfer to the Airport for flight to Simikot (3500m) on a aircraft .The flight will take approximately 1Hr. Than 3 to 4 Hrs trek to reach Dharapuri and having lunch and stay at Camp.

Day 03 : Dharapuri - Kermi
Early morning breakfast and trek to Kermi having lunch on the way. Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 04 : Kermi - Yalbang
Breakfast and 4 hrs trek to reach yalbang. Do darshan there in Yalbang monastery and overnight stay at Camp.

Day 05 : Yalbang - Tumkot
Early morning breakfast and 4 hrs trek to reach Tumkot(2850m) Check Post. Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 06 : Tumkot - Thardunga
Early morning having breakfast and trekking 4 hrs to reach Thardunga.Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 07 : Thardunga – Hillsa - Taklakot
Having morning breakfast and 5 hrs trek to reach Hillsa(Nepal Tibet border). Having lunch there and walk to reach Sher border. Jeep awaiting to receive the Yatris and drive 1hrs to reach Taklakot. Guest house stay in Taklakot.

Day 08 : Taklakot -Mansarovar
Early morning after breakfast Drive 3 hrs to reach Mansarover.Reaching Mansarover and Performing pooja in Mansarover.Lunch, dinner and stay at guest house / tent at Mansarover.

Day 09 : Mansarovar
Entire day spent at Manasarovar. Perform Puja, meditation and enjoy the place.




Day 10 : Mansarovar – Tarboche - Dirapuk Gompa
After early breakfast, depart to Tarboche (starting point for Kailash Parikrama). Trek to Diraphuk Gompa (12 km. / 7 - 8 hrs). Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camp / Guest House

Day 11 : Diraphuk - Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass
After early breakfast, start trekking to Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass (highest point of entire journey, 5750 m). The distance is 18 km with approximate time taken 9 - 10 hrs. Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camp / Guest House.

Day 12 : Dolma Pass - Darchen – Manasarovar - Taklakot
After early breakfast, trek further for 10 km. (4 - 5 hrs) to arrive at Darchen the ending point of Parikrama where jeeps shall be waiting to drive the pilgrims back to Manasarovar for last puja and holy bath and then finally proceed for the overnight stay at Taklakot. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 13 : Taklakot – Hillsa – Nepalgunj - Lucknow
Proceed to Hillsa by jeep and then fly back to Nepalgunj & Drive back to Lucknow for onward destinations.

Above tour is organized from May till October.
Starting point of the tour is Lucknow / Kathmandu.
Total duration is 13 Days.
Tailor made Itinerary suiting only for groups will be made as on request.
For above tour Individual booking are taken for as per fixed departure Dates.

Mode of transportation
Lucknow - Nepalgunj by Car, Nepalgunj - Simikot by Sheduled Flight, Simikot - Sher border by Trek, The kora (parikarma) of Mt. Kailash is to be performed by trek. It takes about two & a half day. Return journey by Helicopter.

Accommodations
Accommodation & all meals are inclusive. accommodation will be provided in Hotels/Guest houses OR Tents as per available facility.

Medical Facilities
Very few medical facility is available in Tibet. That too is very distantly located. Our Guide having certificate of paramedic courses will accompany the group, who take care of only few Medical issues at High altitudes. Personal Medical kit & medicines are recommended.

Guide
Tibetan Guide will accompany the group, Supported by Tour Leader from India Or Nepal.

Permissions and other official formalities
No Permission is required from the Indian or the Nepalese Govt.
To Undertake this tour all yatris should have valid passports.
Tibetan Permits & Chinese Visa are required for this tour, which is included in the Tourcost.
Medical Fitness certificate (issued by registered medical practitioner) is needed.
