Lhasa & Kailash Manasarovar Yatra

This 19 days programme is a very wholesome plan that covers most of the important Tibet landmarks. This tour is designed so that it enables the visitor to savour everything - the traditional ancient Tbetan architecture in the form of palaces and monasteries, the ethinic art & craft, culture & religion as well as the indescribable landscape is unique in itself with 360 degrees panoramic view of the plateau. It is the traditional Tibetan pilgrimage route that starts from Jokhang temple and ends at Mt. Kailash. moreover, one gets the opportunity to visit "Forbidden City" Lhasa that is one of the must visit destinations on the geographical map of earth. To sum up, it fulfills one's sense of adventure as well as spiritual sensibilities. This is the most common and popular tour plan that is undertaken by maximum number of people every year. The trip is done by Land Cruisers with stopovers along the way. The most important aspect of this plan is that it is the most basic and cost effective.

Day 01 : Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu meet our representative and transfer to the Hotel. Evening tour briefing . Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Kathmandu
After breakfast full sight seeing of Kathmandu. Overnight Hotel

Day 03 : Kathmandu - Lhasa
Kathmandu - Lhasa by air. The most seeing flight where you can see three faces of Mt. Everest. Day for acclimatization. Overnight Hotel.

Day 04 : Lhasa
After breakfast full day sight seeing of Lhasa. Overnight Hotel

Day 05 : Lhasa
Full day sight seeing of Lhasa. full day at Potala Palace to explore its beauty and magnitude. Overnight Hotel.

Day 06 : Lhasa - Gyantse
Drive from Lhasa - Gyantse(3950m). Overnight guest house

Day 07 : Gyantse - Shigatse
Drive from Gyantse - Shigatse. (3900m). Overnight Guest House.

Day 08 : Shigatse - Lhatse
Drive from Shigatse - Lhatse (4050m).Overnight Guest House.




Day 09 : Lhatse – Saga
Drive from Lhatse - Saga [4600m]. Overnight Guest House.

Day 10 : Saga - Paryang
Drive from Saga - Paryang [4750m]. Overnight Camp / Guest House.

Day 11 : Mansarovar
Drive to Mansarover. Overnight at Camp / Guest house.

Day 12 : Mansarovar
Full day for pooja and holy bath at Mansarovar. Overnight Camp / Guest House.

Day 13 : Mansarovar – Tarboche - Dirapuk Gompa
After early breakfast, depart to Tarboche (starting point for Kailash Parikrama). Trek to Diraphuk Gompa (12 km. / 7 - 8 hrs). Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camp / Guest House

Day 14 : Diraphuk - Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass
After early breakfast, start trekking to Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass (highest point of entire journey, 5750 m). The distance is 18 km with approximate time taken 9 - 10 hrs. Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camp / Guest House.

Day 15 : Dolma Pass - Darchen – Manasarovar - Paryang
After early breakfast, trek further for 10 km. (4 - 5 hrs) to arrive at Darchen the ending point of Parikrama where jeeps shall be waiting to drive the pilgrims back to Manasarovar for last puja and holy bath and then finally proceed for the overnight stay at paryang. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 16 : Paryang - Saga
Drive from Paryang - Saga. Overnight Camp / Guest House

Day 17 : Saga - Nayalam
Drive from Saga - Nayalam. Overnight Guest House / Camp

Day 18 : Nayalam - Kathmandu
Drive from Nayalam - Kathmandu. Overnight Guest House

Day 19 : Kathmandu
Tour. Ends and return to Destination.

Above tour is organized from May till September.
Starting point of the tour is Kathmandu.
Total duration is 19 Days.
For the above tour only group bookings (min 8 pax) are accepted, and is organized as per the dates requested.

Mode of transportation
The kora (parikarma) of Mt. Kailash is to be performed by foot/yaks. It takes about two & a half day (42 km).

Accommodations
Accommodation & all meals are inclusive. accommodation will be provided in Hotels/Guest houses OR Tents ( as per Availability).

Medical Facilities
Very few medical facility is available in Tibet. That too is very distantly located. Our Guide having certificate of paramedic courses will accompany the group, who take care of only few Medical issues at High altitudes. Personal Medical kit & medicines are recommended.

Guide
Tibetan Guide will accompany the group, Supported by Tour Leader from India Or Nepal.

Permissions and other official formalities
No Permission is required from the Indian or the Nepalese Govt.
To Undertake this tour all yatris should have valid passports.
Tibetan Permits & Chinese Visa are required for this tour, which is included in the Tourcost.
Medical Fitness certificate (issued by registered medical practitioner) is needed.
